Reading group:- – meets at members’ houses, once a month on the second Tuesday of the month at 2.p.m. Books are borrowed from the Library Service, free of charge. There are stimulating discussions, opportunity for social interaction, plus we are helping to keep local libraries open! [contact Kate Burnham
Indoor Bowls Group- meets on a Thursday morning in the winter months at the Memorial Hall, giving opportunity for practice and occasionally entering competitions.[contact Ann Grace]
Craft Group :- This group usually meets on the third Tuesday of the month at the Memorial Hall, 2 pm. Members work on their own projects or make items for charity such as Project Linus quilts, hats and blankets for premature babies and sensory fidget sleeves for dementia sufferers. Some come along to share tea, biscuits and chat and all are welcome! There is a small charge for the hire of the hall. [contact Marion Jones]
