Warkworth W.I. meets at 7.30. pm
on the first Tuesday of each month [except August]
at the War Memorial Hall, Castle Street, Warkworth,
Northumberland NE65 0UJ
Commemorative textile made by Warkworth W.I. members past and present, completed 2016.
A WARM WELCOME awaits you at any of our meetings, where you will find a wide variety of interests and skills on offer. Around 60 members enjoy good speakers, demonstrations and outings, always with a friendly touch. Yes, we sing “Jerusalem” and some of us make jam- but the W.I. is so much more than that: we offer activities such as Crafts, a Reading Group, Indoor Bowls and most recently, a Walking group and a Plastics Action Group. Around the county, the W.I. offers many opportunities – courses, campaigns, walks and competitions to suit everyone’s tastes.
WE AIM to provide a forum and meeting place for everyone, where friendship and laughter provide a backdrop for all the traditional W.I. affairs.
